Police also arrested Telangana Lecturers Forum president K. Venkataswami and TRS leader T. Harish Rao briefly, even as T-agitators intensified the strike.
Condemning the arrests, TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao accused Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy of trying to suppress the movement with brutal force.
He dared the T-ministers to dislodge the CM if they were sincere about T. arlier, Mr Rao and Prof Kodandaram along with hundreds of activists watched Poru Telangana movie produced/ directed by R. Narayanamurthy.
