Puri Jagannath was the director of this movie. The movie was a blockbuster hit of the year 2006 and collected almost 70 crores at the box office. Equipped with an action and love story, the movie was a super hit amongst the mass crowds with apt music. Ileana’s career zoomed to the top with this film and was named amongst the leading actresses of tollywood.
In the same year her next movie Khatarnak was released which had Ileana as the female lead and Ravi Teja as the hero. The movie banked on the skin show of Ileana as the sexy lady was seen in sleeveless blouses and hot outfits which made her male fans drooling over her beauty.
The year 2007, had 3 releases of Ileana and were under big banners. They were Raakhi, Munna and Aata. They had a decent run at the box office.
Again the year 2008 started with the release of JALSA which had Power star Pawan Kalyan as the hero. Ileana was the female lead in this film along with Parvathi Melton and Kamalinee Mukherji. The movie hiked the remuneration of Ileana to 1.75 crores and made her the top paid actresses in south India.
The coming year 2009, has Saleem and Kick from Ileana and the movies are expected to be big blockbuster due to their interesting story lines.

KB Tilak (Kollipara Balagangadhara Tilak), who directed many hit movies in Tollywood including Antha Okati Kadule (1958), MLA (1957). Incidentally he is the nephew of the late LV Prasad, who is considered as the father of Telugu film industry. In fact he is also distant cousin of Akkineni Nageswara Rao's wife, Annapoorna garu. Incidentally his surname is same as ANR's wife i.e Kollipara while his mother's surname is Akkineni like Akkineni Nageswara Rao. He is also uncle of Kolllywood producer, Akkineni Mano, who produced a Tamil film recently.
He almost never used to make commercial films, but used to make films based on social causes. He was the one who introduced Jayaprada to the film industry. He even directed Hindi movies like Kangan (1971) and Choti Bahu is the same year.
He was born in Denduluru in the West Godavari district on 14 January 1926. After doing his schooling in Eluru, he joined the freedom struggle and was jailed several times. Later he shifted to Mumbai and developed relationship with several producers and later shifted base to Chennai.
His last film as director was Dharma Vaddi in 1982 and last film as actor was Aalayam.
