Huge Rush at Yadagirigutta Temple

On account of the first Monday of sacred "Karthika Masam", devotees in large numbers thronged the temple of Sri  Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy in Yadagirigutta of Nalgonda district today. The devotees started pouring into the hill shrine since early morning and had a darshan of the presiding deities. Devout Hindus strongly believe that everything will be good in life if they worship Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu during the Telugu month of Karthika.

Devotees also lighted sacred Karthika Jyothi after worshipping the deities. Serpentine queues were formed for "Quick" and "Very Quick" darshan lines on the occasion. Similarly, all the temples of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu in the State attracted huge crowds of devotees.
