Sri Venkateswara Kalyanotsavam at TTD Balaji Bhavan
The local TTD is conducting Sri Venkateswara Kalyanotsavam at 10 am on every Sunday at it’s Sri Venkateswara Temple, Balaji Bhavan, Himayathnagar here. The participation fee is Rs.400. The TTD is also conducting Abhishekam for Srvaru (moolavarlu) at 5.45 am on every Friday. The participation fee is Rs.100.
Devotees of Lord Balaji, who wish to visit Tirumala for Darshan, can have their accommodation reserved in advance at the local TTD office here. The office works at Balaji Bhavan from 9 am to 1 pm and 2 to 7 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and from 9 am to 1 pm and 2 to 4 pm on other days. Every Tuesday is a holiday for the office. Sudarshan tokens can also be had from the office (Rs.50 each).
The TTD is also conducting several devotional programmes in and around the capital, for the convenience of devotees. The programmes are as follows- At Sri Anjaneya swamy Devalayam, Shyambaba Mandir, Kacheguda : Discourse by Dr N Gopalakrishna Murthy at 6.30 pm on November 10; devotional music by Kum. R Divya at 6.30 pm on Nov.11; Free Samoohika Kumkumarcha at 10.30 am and Harikatha by Mrs V Satyanjaneya at 6.30 pm on Nov.12. At TTD Sri Venkateswara Temple, Himayathnagar : Music by Mr K Rangacharyulu at 6.30 pm on Nov.13; Vnkateswara Kalyanotsavam at 10 am, and Annamacharya sankeerthanalu at 6.30 pm on Nov.14. There will be Harikatha by Mrs P Vijaya lakshmi at 2 pm at TTD S V Veda Pathsala, Keesaragutta on November 14.
