Tirumala Pilgrims: Online Room Booking In Hyderabad

Devotees of Lord Venkateswara who wish to visit Tirumala can have their accommodation booked online at the local TTD office, Sri Balaji Bhavan, Himayathnagar in the city. The office will function from 9 am to 1 pm and 2 to 7 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and from 9 am to 1 pm and 2 to 4 pm on weekdays. Every Tuesday is a holiday. Rs.50 Sudarshan tokens can be had from the office.
The TTD is conducting Sri Venkateswara Kalyanotsavam at its Balaji Bhavan temple here from 10 am on every Sunday. The participation fee is Rs.400. On every Friday, Abhishekam to Srivaru (moolavarlu) will be conducted from 5.45 to 7.30 am. The participation fee is Rs.100. There will be Abhishekam for the Utsava moorthulu on Shravana nakshtra day every month from 7.30 to 9 am.
The local TTD is organizing a number of programmes in and around the twin cities, for the benefit of devotees. The following are the programmes—At Sri Dasanjaneya, Annapurna Visweswara emple, Maruthi nagar, Choutuppal, Rangareddy district : discourse by Mr Marepalli Ramachandra Sastry, from 6.30 pm on December 22; devotional music by Mrs A Shobha devi, from 6.30 pm on Dec.23; Free Samoohika kumkumarchana from 10.30 am and Harikatha by Mrs V Vijayawani at 6.30 pm on Dec.24. The programmes at Sri Balaji Bhavan, Himayathnagar are: Music by Mrs Y Ramaprbha from 6.30 pm on Dec.25; Srivari Kalyanotsavam at 10 am and Annamacharya Sankeerthanalu at 6.30 pm on Dec.26. The TTD is presenting a ‘Burra katha’ by Mr Y Venkatesara Rao and troupe at Central Jail for men, Chanchalguda from 1 to 3 pm on December 26. (NSS)
